REMAX NOVA Surpasses $1 Million in Lifetime Giving to the IWK Foundation
Giving back has always been part of who we are at REMAX NOVA Not as a campaign, but as an ongoing commitment to the community we live and work in.
This year, we were proud to share an important milestone with our agents, partners, and community. Together, REMAX NOVA agents raised over $217,000, bringing our lifetime donations to more than $1,000,000 for the IWK Children’s Hospital.
Reaching one million dollars is not a single moment. It is the result of years of collective effort, consistency, and a shared belief that supporting children and families should be part of how we do business.
Where the Impact Is Going
All funds raised through our current initiatives are directed toward supporting the new IWK Emergency Department and areas of greatest need within children’s services.
This expansion will bring meaningful improvements to care, including additional triage and private examination rooms, trauma and resuscitation spaces, dedicated mental health and addictions care areas, improved ambulance access, and a more thoughtful environment designed with privacy, reduced noise, and natural light in mind.
It represents a more compassionate, efficient, and supportive emergency care experience for families across Nova Scotia and the Maritimes, and we are honoured to contribute to making it a reality.
What We Raised and How We Got There
Surpassing $1 million in lifetime giving reflects the collective efforts of our agents, leadership, clients, partners, event planners, and marketers who helped spread the word and support every initiative along the way.
Key contributions over the past year and beyond include participation in Telethon 41, where REMAX brokerages across the Maritimes raised over $280,000 in support of the IWK, the REMAX NOVA IWK Classic Golf Tournament, which raised over $40,000 for the Emergency Department, ongoing support through the Miracle Home and Miracle Property Program, and countless agent-led fundraising and community initiatives.
Together, these efforts added up to more than $217,000 raised by REMAX NOVA agents this past year alone, helping push our lifetime giving beyond the $1 million mark.

Keeping the Mission Visible
To mark this milestone and carry it forward, we are launching a new IWK campaign focused on continued support for the new IWK Emergency Department and areas of greatest need within children’s services.
Our commitment is amplified through a 51-week Halifax Transit campaign, supported by social media, digital initiatives, and community outreach. By keeping the mission visible year-round, we aim to ensure the impact of this support remains front of mind throughout the community.
Looking Ahead
Surpassing $1 million in lifetime giving is a meaningful moment, but it is not the finish line.
Our goal for this year is to raise $250,000, continuing to build on what has already been achieved and turning momentum into sustained support for pediatric care.
