Living in Dartmouth

Dartmouth is known as the “City of Lakes” due to the numerous lakes within its boundaries, including Lake Banook, Penhorn Lake, Albro Lake, and many more. There’s a lot to do in downtown Dartmouth, with its main streets full of stores, restaurants and coffee shops. It’s also home to Alderney Landing, a community cultural centre that hosts many public events during the year. Dartmouth also has its own hospital, modern recreational facilities and scenic outdoor spaces like Sullivan’s Pond, Lake Banook and Dartmouth Common.
